-=| New Year Resolution |=-

My my my...how time flies...before you know it, year 2006 is already knocking on your door.

I can still vividly remember about the huge HU-HA on the newspapers about new year resolutions for the year 2005. Oh well, I guess happy times past way faster compared to unhappy times :p

In no particular order, here's my Year 2006 Resolution list!

  1. Keep loving Akiko with all my heart :) *this is in order

  2. Eat more fruits!!! (especially for all you carnivores out there)

  3. Find a job opening which suits me perfectly and of course, get offered

  4. Get a 3G handphone (It is time for my T610 to retire...)

  5. Taste more cun food

  6. Go for a vacation or two (It's been awhile since I left the country to get culture shocked!)

  7. Win movie tickets and prizes instead of buying 'em

  8. Hope that PTPTN accidentally deletes my name off their database record

What's
your new year resolution?

yoi otoshio!

3 more days to a new year! > <"
can't believe time actually fly...so fast.
nothing much really happened for the past few days....the whole reason of me not blogging at the time.
today, i am up early. cos' stephy invited me to join her for a round in pyramid ice.
mmm i wonder how's the parking going to be like...
cos' i went to midvalley yesterday and couldn't even manage to get into the parking lot.

all the entrances to the parking lot is blocked with those plastic red and white bar.

sad case.
it's a Weekday!!!! why is it so jammed up?!!? aren't everyone suppose to be at work???!!!
nevermind,
me and Ai Ai ended up at BU instead.
she wanted to get some shoes for her latin dance event.
dinner dress...elegant ones
and erm....a bag with shape. ^^"
at the end of the day, we didn't get to find anything. all overpriced stuff.
before going home,

ai ai spotted the gigantic Monopoly set on the floor, Oval court!

the dices were as big as a 9 year old kid!
and ythey have a jail cage with those striped shirts and trouser in it.
so cool!
she, i suggested going down to the floor and checking things out at a closer view.
we got ourselves registered for the game on sunday! ^^ yeay!!!

i'm going to be the dice kicker/thrower and ai ai is going to be the human pawn.

she was so in love with the giant red motels and green houses.
i bet she would probably just took off with one if there wasn't so many people around.
i might just pull kumasan in too.
ai ai will pull her sister.
can't wait for that day. should be fun!

complaints!

i have a few.... unnecessary worry today.
let me blog it. can't stand not blogging about it.
number
1) mother who goes phycho almost all the time in the house for no reason.
she just looses her cool when something small happens. example: collecting her washed- but-not- so-dried clothes into the house when it rains and not hanging it up in another area. the explaination is simple. i helped her, in good will. and was rushing to go out. is it better to leave it outside than to collect it? she was the one who wanted to take extra sleep in the afternoon at 2 o'clock. lazy and having negative thoughts of others all the time is so shallow.
2) she assumes that she is the most knowledgable and wise human in the world. thus, anything alse she hears from others is not acocuntable and is to be ignored. even after so many failures and not one lesson learned by her.
3) everyone is so avoiding her and she, who thinks that she is smart , also thinks that everyone loves her to bits and need her unconditional attention and empty nagging.
4) he thinking is so shallow that she only look at things and analyses it par her nose level. maybe eye lash..
5 ) can a person be judge, merely by the face? especially when it's a guy friend of your daughter. sounds like a intruding parent to me. get away from my life!!> <" shalloW!!!!
6)sleep with your mum in the same room at this age? nothing more that i can say about that sentence. *puke*

BBQ pixxies ^^~

Wet Xmas

HO! HO! HO! Merry Xmas! Hope ya'll had a jolly fun xmas this year :)

I've been looking forward to this year's xmas ever since I bought a Santa hat last month (I think). Finally, the day has arrived and also... past before we know it. Somehow, we can never get enough out of such celebrations...they seem to end a lot quicker compared to boring days...well...that's why we call them boring rite? :p

The whole xmas spirit kicked in when my dept. decided to have a xmas gift xchange among ourselves. The minimum price was set to RM10 after much negotiation I made...haha. The first idea that came to mind was buying a single movie ticket (I'm mean k.). Then, my plan tend to reach perfection when my colleague asked me to help him get a pressie as well. I wanted to match-make two colleagues for a late night movie...but then, I resisted. Ended up with a late night weekday shopping with usagisan at Ikano, which cost a lot of her patience for waiting for me to make the final decisions. Muaks!

The gift xchange went pretty well, with some overpriced items in the loop (due to some who did not have even a mere 30 minutes to shop for a pressie so they had to give away their or their mummys' unwanted & unused belongings). Oh well, at least they participated :|

Till now, you might still be wandering why 'Wet' was used in the title...or for some of you, you might relate it to something wayyyyy nasty *cough* *dreams*. Just to clear this up, it actually means rain. At 7pm, on xmas eve, I had the feeling that we had to cancel our initial planned BBQ party. Fortunately, the rain turned to drizzles and off we started our BBQ setup.

Me and usagisan braved the rain in our Santa hats grilling sausages and chicken pieces (including Spoonkin, though he was rather timid so he asked others to help him cook!). Others in the gang were Bubu, Moy, Bird, Apple, Kev, Rulez, Razor and Xander. Small group but hell lotta fun! Once again I am participating in a xmas gift exchange, this time it's RM20. Everyone took the time to fork out a pressie in minimum time due to the very very late announcement. Sad to say that the announcer himself (Spoon) had zero time to get one so he wrapped 2 RM10 dollar notes with his wallet and he didn't even give the wrapper away! And Moy left his pressie home so Xander had to go home empty handed....

All in all, Xmas been great. This time round, it's celebrated in a totally different way as compared to previous years. Can't wait till New Year!!

Have a wonderful time this holiday season boys & girls (and she-males if there's any out there reading our blog :p) !!

i had bakuteh and some fried beancurd and fish and long beans.
nice and crunchy.
i didn't know that we were having bakuteh until ah ma served it on the table.

boRING day!!!

ohkay... must be the collective hours of deprived sleep....
yesterday, it took a toll on my class ....

や な ぎ だせ ん せ いの harrypotter/helicopter mistake.

anyway, 今 日 は ま だ宿 題 お し て い ま せ ん

so bored today
really feel like sleeping the whole day...
and listening to christmas oldies, classics....
i'm in the 1920's vintage white christmas....snow, as soft and fluffy as my bunny's tail...
floating down gracefully from the sky above..
lights in the streets, all beautifully lit up
colourful bobbles of glass yuletide balls.... all hanging up on a giant christmas tree.
so pretty in sight....
from top to toe, i'm holding tight to my fur lined suede coat, with a silk bow ribbon tied around my waist
and soft brown leathered gloves
laced scarve around my neck and collar
lovely fur lined kitty boots doned.
i let my hair down, with snow falling on my head.
such a lovely feeling....to be so warm in a cold christmas evening.
kumasan, holding my hands, ^^
and watching the empty streets filled with snow.
a few passerby looked at us with a smile on their face ^^
and i wave a them lightly with a smile and kumasan with his cute dimple, showing on his face.
^^
MERRY Christmas everyone!

KUraSU DeSU!

Irrashaimase! Yorokonde!

hi everyBOdHAy!, welcome to...

so blur too....
i mean today, in class.....the futsukeis' just got stuck in my head and couldn't be processed.
sad case here.
*wink* ^^

OHKAYZ!!!!

....how shallow minded can people be....
sorry for being slightly rude, but blaming the girl for a decision making to an overseas job vacancy is totally shallow.
can;t there be a situation where other obsticles also play a part in this?
it's not always the girl's decision okay?!
it's all up to kumasan. it's to be his own happiness that he will find in the end.
i love him, with all my heart. and i would OBVIOUSly want the best for kumasan.
it's not easy to let a person you love, go. SEriouSly!(dohh~)
easy to say, difficult to be done.
me, i am not forcing him to stay and not consider the option at all. there are a few issue that worries me here.
HELLOW!!!! he is going to be in pakistan and india and sri lanka....errm......ideal? > <" for me. nope. how safe can that place be? i don't know.
i definitely wouldn't want kumasan to be in any risk of danger. Wouldn't you guys feel the same with your 'love'?

Thoughts

It's been soo long. Here I am, back with a topic that needs your feedback. Hope everyone's still frequenting our blog ey? :)

The past few weeks have been really tough. To simplify the entire content into a few hundred words is really difficult. Then again, I'll try my very best.

There's this one point in life whereby you start to ponder on your current self. Are you doing what you like? or even, what do you like in the first place? Well, for me, I've found myself. I believe many of you have found yourselves too. I might be one of the slower ones.

So, what's next after you obtain so called 'enlightenment'?

I basically began to pick up new stuff, stuff that will benefit me in my next step. Anyone heard of GSM, GPRS, EDGE, 3G? Well, I guess that'll give you a clue of what I'm currently into. These layman terms mentioned comes with plenty of 'history' required to be explored on. I've done a great deal of information scavaging, to get a grip on something I've barely learnt (though with some of my rusty RF knowledge, it helped tonnes).

Go backward 2 months, that was when I started my side-stepping. During that time, my naive mind tells me that technical skills does not play much of a factor in securing me a 'position' *cough*. How wrong was I? Till now, I still regret it. SEEMENZ (wrong spelling intended) is like my best stepping stone, or even a stone whereby I can stand on for a verrrrry long time. It's all wasted now... I could have at least make the in-the-wew a lot more positive if I am given a chance now instead.

Fast forward 2 months, right when everything turns out to be perfect (in a way - whereby side-stepping is almost a success), many many more external factors tend to come into your mind. This is something that you won't even bother worrying about before you step your foot out. This particular company (Okay....can't afford to leave you in the dark....it's HWA WEY[sp? intended]) requires a frequent flyer (when I mean frequent, it's like 10 out of 12 monthes you won't be in your home country). To add to that, that person will only be within ASIA-PAC and Middle East (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka...yeah...you get the idea). Of course, the $$ is extremely attractive, but, is it worth? I believe it's too subjective. And, what bout ya family? friends? and most importantly....my dear Usagi-san? :(

Just as things get more complicated, more issues tend to boost the situation. One would be the outcome of my 'meeting' with DeeGee (as what's been told, I was one of the 20 selected out of 400, so I'm already a Winner, yay!...2 of the best will be selected in the finals). Another would be Sze's help for Maxim's brother *uhmm* Everything's so packed, and time is running realllll quick....

So, may you kind souls who happen to read this post, share your thoughts. I'd greatly appreciate it. Or even give me a "Wham!" on the head for stepping the wrong foot, maybe.

my Niichan GRADUATED!

i'm oh so proud of my niichan!!!
so happy so happy!!!
wish he could be back here for a while though.... > <>

meanwhile..
i had a great but expensive brunch today.
where? Paddinton's House of pancakes. forgot to bring my cam, so sorry,..
but me and Soo ordered this Sweet pancake. superbly smooth. strawberries and blueberries all over...
the price? RM18.90 + 10% serv. tax + 5% govt. tax = RM21.18
not a very good price for two small pancakes.

kumasan was just being such a darling the whole day.
we went to paternal granny's place for dinner,
nice!
i'm landing myself there again tomorrow, after my class ^^

just hope that i won't be too tired to concentrate during the 4 hours class.
cos' i had to fetch mum and maternal granny from the airport.
their arrival time = 5.45am local time.
destination details: melbourne to kuala lumpur
no choice.
pap refused to move his lazy bum.

love!

ooooo, today's plan was totally diverted.
negative energy ......but... if i were to put it to the positive side, it can be that way too ^^
i'm going to donate part of my clothes to charity.
on the 18th of December ^^
i am so happy that i have cleaned up my wardrobe!

well, was supposed to be in subang today... didn't make it.

reason: debate.
chichi ue.......didn't allow me to go. he had to come up with an issue for debate at the very last minute... so i settled in the house, doing all my laundry and ended up draining myself off of enerygy.
had so much to frust the whole day.
the debate really made me think!!!! SOOOO MUCH!!!

well, the world is really not a good place to live your life in peace.
but then again, you could always see it in a positive way and make things a teeny weeny bit more worth that hard work in living your life!
so, i will not let anyone change my mind on what i want to achieve in life.
if there's a will, there's a way!

i love kumasan so much.
missing every bit of kumasan.
he is just so busy nowadays.
till then, i'll just fill out this bloggy ^^
muax! Hugx! love you, kumasan!

熱いでしょう!

it is so hot today.
i wish that it would rain......
NOW!

> <"~~ i've just had my lunch. salmon fish in a cabbage wrap. suprisingly, filing but so not satisfying.
maybe i was just looking into Oyakodon with misoshiru
couldn't find any rice in the kithchen,
so...i didn't have rice with my salmon.
Marissa called this morning, saying that we can meet up around tea time.
i wonder if the roads are jammed up.
i'll have to be at subang today to run some errands... > <"
i think i better go earlier, so that i can beat the traffic in the evening.
crazy traffic.

i've got so many things on my mind.
have to do this and that.. but i am so totally not into it this time.
feel bored.
maybe it's because of the heat!
BLAME THE HEAT!!!! ^^"

happy graduation to niichan!

How did the World happen?

i have been pondering about things that goes about in our lives.
like family dues, the importance of friendship to you
it's a very subjective matter but, there are always people who think that friends are not important, as compared to others.
and how rich people get richer by the minute and poor people just go poorer and down the drain in seconds
it seems pretty unfair, how things are.
maybe it's the way how people perceive things as.
maybe it's just fate.
do you believe in karma?
do you believe in luck?

some parents don't even know that they are hurting their own child.
it is just so sad to see that.
eventually, the child may just fade away in time.
purely caused by ignorance.
it is so true that these happen. all the sadness in the world. all caused by ignorance, greed and selfishness.

in our times, parent's role have changed.
usually, both will have to work.
so, the child is sent off to a granny.
in majority, a maid takes over the house chores with responsibilities on the children of the house too.
in my opinion, every parent should give their children a break, sometimes.
especially, due to the lack of self parenting, the child might not be as close to the parent as they should be , under normal care.
it is pure torture to want to force everything onto your child, making them feel like they are a burden or
bringing the thought that they owe the parent some big life savings of money and responsibility.
well, life goes around how you treat people and the same goes in return.
good deeds follow by good deeds
the bad will get some bad in return.

Blessing in Disguise

so true! so true!
thanks to lynn's words of wisdom ~+refering to my title for the day.
i won't be going to melbourne after all..
no seats left for me...
two seats left taken up by mother and granny.
i have to write an apology note to Audrey, Win Nie, Randy, Benny,Seng....my niichan especially...

i was chatting with niichan this morning.
told him i am soooo looking for an editing job.
something to do with creative design would be great though.
Fashion? THat's a JackPot!

then niichan said that fashion editors are superbly classy people ^^ (yerp!)
and he got this from a Vogue fashion editor in an interview with Opera Winfrey!
so cool!!! i want to watch that too!!!!
Vogue USA is so in" very very cool.

then, he went on, telling me that people in that company walks darn fast and dresses so professionally.
^^
that statement immediately reminded me of Edna from The Incredibles.

kekkeke
always saying
no time no time
or
Hush
and then slicing sentences from others
so funny. love that FashionDesigner.
now, i just have to look for an editing job.

short day indeeeeeeD & Borders is so.....chilly

as above,
i claim that today's hour during daybreak and daylight is as short as

the tail of a Hammy...
WHY?>>>????
let's put in the details...shall we?

firstly:

i woke kumasan up at half past eight .
me myself? quarter past nine.
i've gotten myself ready when kumasan rang me up to confess that he is still in his teddy bear p-jammies
( ^^ just pulling your leg)
anyways.... kumasan rang me to ask me for a favor,
kumasan forgot his pen and would like me to borrow kumasan one of my gazzillion pens,
lying around my house.
i happily throt away , searching and trying on every piece of pen that caught my eye.
by the way...kumasan was 5 minutes away from my house,

at the time kumasan rang.
imagine the speed that got me to try the pens and run upstairs to wreck the door and table in search of a black ink pen which actually works!!!
^^ kekeke i didn't mind the bustle actually.
i had nothing better to do than replacing toilet rolls and tissue boxes upstairs.

i pulled out my condo keys from my car and walked as gracefully as i could to his car.
kumasan, in please-read-my-lips mode, through closed windows ,
told me that he had one pen in his car that he had forgotten all about. ^^
cute.

it was his thrusty Monash Uni pen ( with an ugly purple rubber pad ) *giggles to kumasan*
sorry for insulting the pen love.... ^^" the colour just doesn't......oh nevermind ^^

anyways....we headed west, towards SS2 in search of an early breakky.
landed at Bistro delifrance.

both kumasan and i had the same.
Le Waffle........ someone fill in the blanks for me PLeaSe!
kumasan filled it with maple shrup!!! the poor waffle drowning in sweet sweet shrup!
les secours! les secours!

(help~help~)
> <" after the wonderful breakky, kumasan drove me all the way to Cyber!

^^ ^<~ ><$%^$&%^&
was supposed to be a relaxing time...
but i couldn't stand the dirty dirty floor, dishes, dusty dusty table, tv set.
thanks to my condo mate...
i vacuumed,
mopped,
wiped,
washed,
scrubbed, ..................
those took 4 hours off my precious day!

kumasan and i headed back around half past four in the evening.
relaxed a bit and had to head off to bangsar village to collect my red luggage!
^^ from guen Boh
^^ it was a suprise!
James Ding was there too....
*hoo hoo haa haa.....mystery mystery*

we arrived at The Curve mysteriously..... ><" (just crapping. Of course Kumasan drove!)
went to Borders.
actually we bumped into the entrace ( hee haw,...such BIg entrace they have....)
it was freeeezing! felt a tad like christmas tho ^^"

dinner was at Kim Gary's
^^ French toast.
pork ribs with mushroom rice.
peach snow mountain.

finished everything, could have fed half the population of ants that i have spotted around my condo.
tee hee~~

came home kinda early and spent some hours in the kitchen chopping up celery, carrots and lettuce for snacks ^^

Dalecarlia Chocolates

different cute hako' with the same stuff inside! uber cute!

and....i found this cute muffin.
it's called picolo muffin
oooh, so nice.
kumasan had one, and he said it was so good! xox
there were only 3 left in the bakery. and....
yarp! i swiped it all off the rack ^^
only 54 cents a piece (student price tho')
superbly cute!!
gaawd...what a cute cute day...
